Among the official guests were Vesela Lecheva, President-elect of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee, Angel Dzhorgov, Mayor of Samokov, Petar Georgiev, owner of SamElyon Hall, Kalina Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and her husband Kitin Muñoz, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, veteran of martial arts Chavdar Chernev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova, as well as representatives of business, politics, and sport.
“As a new ambassador, one of my priorities was to revive this traditional tournament. I thank the Bulgarian Taekwondo Federation, the Municipality of Samokov, and the owner of SamElyon Hall for their support,” stated H.E. Dong-bae Kim.
“SamElyon Hall is built to the highest international standards and provides excellent conditions for the development of sport and for the town of Samokov. This is a true sporting celebration—full of children, athletes, and energy,” emphasized Vesela Lecheva.
